What a season!
Did you know during the first season of the iron cage tournament, there are teams who beat one another that creates a 3-way deadlock? not just 1 but we have 2 deadlocks that happen in the first season.
3-way deadlock number 1
The first deadlock all happen in the regular season, Assassin defeated Espada with an epic come back game, Espada defeated Day with convincing wins, and the last match up the Day defeated Assassin with a wide margin. and at the end of the season, all the there teams have the same Points and, win-game margin between this three-team decided to finalize who will advance to the playoff.
Thus Espada and Day advance to the playoffs, and Assassin got left behind because they lack only 1 point differences to the Day.
3-way deadlock number 2
In the regular season Day defeated GP, Espada defeated GP and in the last game, GP defeated Espada. To be more details,
Day defeated GP in a tight game with the Infamous “sudden death Free Throw”
Espada Defeated Day with a convincing win in the regular season, and they did it again at the playoff game but this time with a small margin and upset almost happen.
In the last matchup, Espada got demolish by Gp at the regular season, and GP won again in the finals with a small margin by (again) the infamous sudden death free-throw. And GP is crowned as the King of Iron Cage season 1!
What a finale ending at season 1, a very competitive one, lots of drama (free throw drama especially), and there are a lot of games that ended with a small margin.
